Hey everyone! My name is Evan Lilly. The main reason I've chosen English as my major is simply to become a better writer. I feel like my essays an assignments for past classes have grown dramatically, and I want to hold on to that by learning more about writing as a process and what I'm saying to an audience.
I feel the future holds a lot of options. I do want to consider grad school or to even teach English.
A few facts: I'm a barista at Donkey Coffee in Athens, I love Motown music (Martha Reeves, Kim Weston, The Ronettes, etc. I also love more "dream-pop" bands past/present: My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Atlas Sound, Deerhunter. Swedish pop: Acid House Kings, The Radio Dept., Jens Lekman, etc.
I also love cold weather!
